Whats behind Erik Hurtados sudden and dramatic turnaround? Why is he

Whats behind Erik Hurtados sudden and dramatic turnaround?   Why is he all of a sudden scoring highlight reel goals and game winners?   According to Whitecaps Coach Carl Robinson there is no difference. Pas Cher Air Max 270 Femme . Hes the same player he always was, only now his efforts are being rewarded. The rookie manager has made a habit of heaping praise on others when things are going well, and accepting criticism when they arent.  But in the case of Hurtado, its what the coach is NOT saying that may be the secret to a superb run of form. Last year, you could almost see the Santa Clara grad thinking while he played.  "Should I go here?"  "Whos my man?"  "Do I shoot or do I cross?"  The amount of times a promising attack would fizzle out at his feet was frustrating for not just the fans, but his former manager as well.  When your coach loses faith, its tough to believe in yourself.  So the mantra this year for Hurtado and many of the other young studs in the Whitecaps stable is stop thinking.  Just go play. For the most part, its working.  Hurtado has been employed as both a lone striker, and a right sided weapon.  Hes looked equally dangerous in both roles.   One can only imagine what might happen when his freedom of thought becomes routine and instinctual.  Compare the Real Salt Lake game a month ago, when in the late stages, last years fifth overall pick burst down the right flank and instead of unleashing one of his palm stinging drives, he squared it up for a team-mate, with coach Robinson pleading for a shot.  From virtually the same spot in last Saturdays game against Seattle Sounders Hurtado blasted home off the cross bar, and the Whitecaps were back on level terms only minutes after cruelly falling behind.   There was no thought.  There was no passing of responsibility.  It was the same explosive drive the 23-year-old has unleashed hundreds of times in training, and throughout his formative years.    The ball doesnt seem to run away from "E-Money" anymore either.  His touch is tidier, the runs are becoming less predictable, and the end product is inherently powerful.  Youd be hard pressed to find a similarly statured player with the kinds of tools Hurtado possesses.  Hes been told more than once that a running back in the other type of football might have suited his skill set more.  Thankfully his dad wasnt having it. Now the one time Beaverton Oregon boy gets to return to the state of his youth, as a bona fide starter, and a legitimate threat.  Surely the family and friends in attendance will motivate him further, rather than distract.  Carl Robinson could also have the luxury of Darren Mattocks at his disposal for the June 1st tilt at Providence Park.  Mattocks will be racking up the air miles on Jamaican duty, but will still be available to face his old Akron Zips coach Caleb Porter, and best pal Darlington Nagbe. Might we see Hurtado, Mattocks and Manneh all on the park at once as some supporters had fantasized already last pre-season? Hopefully the manager can keep them all from thinking about it too much. Winners of two straight, the Flames will try to become the first team in 25 years to go three consecutive games without taking a penalty Saturday night in San Jose. http://www.pascherbasketairmax.fr/air-m … ckage.html . But Josh Bailey scored the shootout winner to lead the Islanders to a 3-2 win over the Montreal Canadiens in a battle of the Eastern Conferences two worst teams.Ive looked high and low. Searched databases and websites. And I contacted the PGA Tour, which continues to look into it. While I cant be 100 per cent certain, based on my sleuthing, the six Canadians who will start in the Frys.Com Open Thursday represents a record for a PGA Tour event not based in Canada. Mike Weir, David Hearn, Graham DeLaet, Brad Fritsch, Adam Hadwin and Nick Taylor will start play in the 2014-15 season opener being held in Napa, Calif., A seventh Canadian, Roger Sloan, is waiting patiently at the tournament, sitting as the fourth alternate as I tap this out. Its pretty heady stuff for Canadian golf fans. Next to the Americans (102) and the Aussies (nine), Canada has the most golfers in this tournament. Thats more than South Africa, more than England and more than South Korea. I can remember days when we would have fewer players in tournaments than golf powerhouses such as Denmark or Fiji. For all six players, the new season represents a chance, an opportunity to start again. Weir, the most seasoned of the bunch, is entering his 18th year on the tour, which, in itself is hard to fathom. After burning his two career money list exemptions the last two seasons, hes playing this year by virtue of finishing 109th on last years money list. In the off-season, Weir signed up with a new coach, Martin Ayers, an Aussie who Weir hopes will get him some consistency. The two spent a great deal of time working on fundamentals. Simple stuff such as alignment and aiming. The lefthander is hoping to find more of what we saw at the HP Byron Nelson last year, where he finished second. Im not sure if Weir, who turns 45 in May, has another major in him, but certainly he has plenty of game left if can find some consistency through the bag. For Graham DeLaet, the time is ripe, perhaps even past due, to finally get a victory. The Weyburn, Sask., native has done just about everything but win on tour and certainly fans are wondering when that breakthrough is going to happen. He is too, no doubt. I would have bet the house that DeLaet would have grabbed a win by now. Trouble is, winning on the PGA Tour is hard. Lots of things have to go your way – good breaks and great play. He might not win this year or he might win five times. But it seems more than likely that he will at least give himself lots of chances. DeLaet is also eyeing the Presidents Cup, taking place in South Korea next October. Hes currently fifth on the points list and if he plays this year as he did last, he should be a lock to bring his emotional game to the squad. David Hearn, by his own admission, is not a guy who is going to go out and shoot a 61 very often. But he will post four rounds of 68. And, as he showed at the Players last year, he can do it on difficult courses. His game is built on consistency and thats what hes hoping to build on for this year. Dont be surprised if Hearn posts a win. He has the talent to do so and he is continuing to get comfortable year after yeaar on tour courses. Air Max France Pas Cher. Brad Fritsch didnt fare well last year and is playing this week thanks to his top-10 finish in the last regular PGA Tour event, the Wyndham Championship. However, it will also count as his minor medical extension – he received one start for time missed due to injury last year. He needs to finish eighth or better to retain his card for this season. Thats a tall task, but the Ottawa native is more than capable. If he doesnt get that done, hell have head back to the Web.com tour for another year. Thats not the ideal option but Fritsch has a good attitude about his job and is more than prepared to tee it up on that circuit if need be. The Canadian getting the most attention in the pre-season is Adam Hadwin, and with good reason. He tore up the Web.Com Tour last year, finishing as the leading money winner. He was also a finalist for player of the year. Confident without being cocky, Hadwin has the perfect game for the PGA Tour. I would not be the least bit surprised if he became the next Canadian to win on the PGA Tour, ending the drought that extends back to Stephen Ames 2009 win at the Childrens Miracle Network Classic. Nick Taylor put on a finishing kick in the Web.Com Tour finals to gain playing privileges on the PGA Tour. Many thought he would have been here before this, having put up a remarkable amateur career, which included being ranked No. 1 in the world. Of course we tend to do that as Canadian fans, expecting way to much way too soon. But more seasoning was required and now Taylor appears ready for the big leagues. He has played well at this level before – that U.S. Open performance back in 2009 is well known – now he needs to show he can do it consistently. Sloan, who figures he is assured of getting into the McGladrey in a few weeks, will play a waiting game. His status is well down the exemption list and hell need to hope for a few WDs over the next few events to earn spots in fields. Of course he won last year on the Web.Com Tour, at home no less, taking the Nova Scotia Open. While he sputtered across the finish line at the end of the season in no small measure due to the brutal schedule he was forced to play, he is capable of playing on the PGA Tour. Hell just need to bring his best stuff early to keep his status. Its an interesting time, for sure. Now, not all these players will get a full slate of starts. Taylor and Sloan will need fast starts to solidify their positions. Fritsch will need an exceptionally speedy beginning, as in one week. The other four can pick and choose, with DeLaet getting into more of the bigger events thanks to his world ranking. Its great to have a half-dozen out there, playing for themselves but with Canadian flags on their bags. So which one will perform best this year? Or even this week? Its nice to have some choice. I have been at this long enough when there were stretches where no Canadians were playing on the tour. This, I can assure you, is better.
